This Christmas Tree Tear Art Activity is a festive and engaging Christmas craft designed to support fine motor development. Children tear colored paper to create their own Christmas tree artwork and practice early writing skills through four differentiated template options. Perfect for classrooms, holiday literacy centers, morning tubs, and at-home creative time.
Four Template Options:
Word Version: Children complete the collage and read the provided word.
Sentence Stem Version: Children complete a simple word based on the given sentence starter.
Handwriting Lines Version: Children write a word or sentence on handwriting lines after finishing the collage.
Blank Lines Version: Children freely write or draw on the two blank lines.
How to Use:
Tear colored paper into small pieces, apply glue to an area, and paste the torn pieces to fill the Christmas tree. Choose one of the four templates based on the learning goal and complete the writing task by reading the word, finishing the sentence, practicing handwriting, or writing freely.
